Celtics fall to Spurs, 103-82

Overall a very poor effort from a Celtics standpoint.

Tim Duncan scored 29 and 12 as the Spurs blew by the Celtics in a game where the Celtics were more or less toyed with.

Dan Dickau Stinks
And I mean this with a passion.

What exactly was the point of signing this guy to a three year deal in which he's making about 2 and a half million a year?

As indicated in the last few Celtics games, Delonte West and Orien Greene can play. West is a do it all point guard; he can shoot, defend, pass, rebound, and at 6'4", he can even block shots! After all, as Tommy Heinsohn once said, "he's one of those guys who doesn't care about looking pretty." Don't worry, Delonte, you don't ever have to worry about that. ;)

The same goes with Orien Greene. He is still a second round pick who hasn't gotten much playing time in the regular season, but he can certainly defend and play the fast break at an NBA level. He wasn't touted to be taken in the draft, but as usual, Danny Ainge has proven the NBA why he is the best at handpicking talent.

Dan Dickau only makes this team worse; he basically cannot defend any other point guard in the league, and his shooting skills are quite dime a dozen for the position he plays. It was a waste of a signing.

So in recapitulation, West and Greene can do it alone.

Dickau?

Well, he's just a Dickhead.
